NU Online News Service, Jan. 16, 11:34 a.m. – CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia, is adding customer relationship software from E.piphany Inc., San Mateo, to its benefit plan Web sites.

CIGNA recently announced a decision to use software from Yahoo! Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif., to generate personal Web sites for each health and retirement plan member.

CIGNA is building the E.Piphany Real-Time software into the sites to help members find what they need before they ask for it, E.Piphany says.

The Real-Time software uses the age of a customer and other clues to come up with guesses about the kinds of information a customer might need, then offers the customers what it believes to be relevant information.
