NU Online News Service, Jan. 15, 12:26 p.m. – The Charles Schwab Corp., San Francisco, says it will be beefing up the Web services it offers independent investment advisors.

The company has been appealing to advisors for several years by helping them set up client services Web sites on Schwab servers.

Now Schwab is introducing Advisor Branded Web Services, a system that an advisory firm can use to build and maintain a customized Web site under its own brand name, rather than the Schwab brand name.
