NU Online News Service, Jan. 10, 1:09 p.m. – SNL Securities L.C., Charlottesville, Va., says Hugh McColl Jr. will be the guest instructor at its third annual mergers and acquisitions training seminar March 4-6 in Atlanta.
McColl was the chairman of NationsBank Corp., Charlotte, N.C., when NationsBank succeeded at acquiring Bank of America Corp., San Francisco. He was also one of the executives whose efforts helped lead to the passage of the Gramm-Leach-Blilely Financial Services Modernization Act.
