NU Online News Service, Nov. 13, 10:58 a.m. – Digital Insurance Inc., Atlanta, says it has raised $6 million from a group of investors that includes American Life Insurance Company of New York.
Digital Insurance markets systems for selling and administering life insurance, annuities and health insurance through the Web and call centers.
American Life is a subsidiary of Inviva Inc., New York, a company that develops systems for selling life insurance through the Web.
Digital Insurance will use the new cash to upgrade its Web site and add new products, the company says.
