Pacific Life Starts Mutual Fund Family

NU Online News Service, Nov. 12, 2:47 p.m. – Pacific Life Insurance Company, Newport Beach, Calif., is selling its first line of mutual funds through affiliated broker/dealers.

The fund family includes 12 funds managed by eight money managers, including AIM Capital Management Inc., Houston; INVESCO Funds Group Inc., Denver; Janus Capital Corp., Denver; Lazard Asset Management, New York; MFS Investment Management, Boston; Pacific Investment Management Company, Newport Beach, Calif.;Salomon Brothers Asset Management Inc., New York; and Pacific Life.

Pacific Life added the funds, because many registered representatives who were selling Pacific Life variable annuities said their clients were also interested in buying Pacific Life mutual funds, the company says.
