NU Online News Service, Oct. 29, 2:36 p.m. – PlanVista Corp., Tampa, Fla., a company rents provider networks to retail managed care carriers, has named Donald Schmeling chief financial officer.
Schmeling has been serving as the interim CFO at the preferred provider organization.
Schmeling joined PlanVista as interim CFO in July, after serving as CFO at Hydrogen Media Inc., St. Petersburg, Fla., and as a partner in the Tampa, Fla., office of the accounting firm Grant Thornton L.L.P.
PlanVista reported in September that it trying to renenew a $115 million credit facility and make payments on a loan from CENTRA Benefit Services Inc., Dallas.
