IntelliClaim Appoints President

NU Online News Service, Sept. 20, 11:19 a.m. – IntelliClaim, a Norwalk, Conn., company that works with medical claims payers to reduce costs and improve the consistency and accuracy of the claims payment process, has announced the appointment of Robert A. Chernow to the newly created position of president and chief operating officer.

In this capacity, Chernow will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of IntelliClaim's advanced technology for medical claims processing for health plans, HMOs, insurance companies and other medical claims payers.

IntelliClaim also announced the election of Chernow to its board of directors.

Chernow comes to IntelliClaim with a background in health plan industry management. Chernow was at one time a partner with PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS, LLP, New York.

Chernow performed his doctoral work at Yale University, Conn., in epidemiology and public health, received his masters in public health from the University of California, Berkeley and his bachelor's degree from Colgate University, Hamilton, N.Y. He lives in Westport, Conn.
