NU Online News Service, Sept. 14, 12:55 p.m. – With its headquarters just two blocks away from the World Trade Center, Moody's Investor Services, New York, was hit hard by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

With its e-mail system crippled, it is using a number of Web-based Hotmail accounts to stay in touch with its customers and media.

However, access to Moody's Web site at http://www.moodys.com is possible through its Internet Protocol address (129.33.64.100).

With its headquarters inaccessible as a result of the attacks, Moody's is continuing limited operations from its offices in San Francisco, Dallas, Tokyo and London.
