HealthExtras Expands Into Canada

NU Online News Service, Sept. 7, 10:17 a.m. – HealthExtras Inc., Rockville, Md., a health and disability benefit programs for individuals, small businesses and employer groups, today announced the launch of its accidental disability benefits in Canada.

HealthExtras is offering its catastrophic accident benefit to Canadian citizens in association with Canadian Premier Life Insurance Company, Ontario, Canada.

The Catastrophic Accident Assistance Plan, inspired by HealthExtras spokesman, Christopher Reeve, provides a safety net of $1 million if the covered individual is permanently disabled in a catastrophic accident, HealthExtras says.
