National Underwriter Unit Publishes Estate Planning CD-ROM Course

NU Online News Service, Aug. 23, 2:35 p.m. – The National Underwriter Company, Erlanger, Ky., the company that publishes this Web site, has just released Estate Planning, a new, interactive CD-ROM course.

The course gives detailed information about how all types of property, including life insurance products, are owned and transferred.

The course also explains estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes; planning for the marital deduction; and topics such as the unified credit, credit shelter bypass, wealth replacement trusts, and the effects of .the newly enacted federal tax relief legislation.

The authors of the estate planning course are editors at National Underwriter's Tax Facts unit. The unit publishes a family of books, newsletters and electronic information services that explain tax issues to financial services professionals.
