Thomas King Appointed CEO Of First Penn-Pacific Life

NU Online News Service, Aug. 10, 8:33 a.m. – First Penn-Pacific Life Insurance Company, Schaumburg, Ill., recently named Thomas E. King as chief operating officer and general manager.

He is responsible for building relationships with distributors as well as managing the Schaumburg headquarters operations.

King founded the Terra Financial Companies Ltd., a financial services holding company for insurance brokerage and investment advisory subsidiaries.

After managing Terra Financial for nearly 20 years, he sold it to General Electric Company, Fairfield, Conn., in 1997.

King recently graduated from Kellogg Management Executive Education Program at Northwestern University. He also earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis.
