NU Online News Service, July 17, 5:15 p.m. – InvestorTree Inc., Bronxville, N.Y., says consumers have used its Financial Advisor Locator Network 7,000 times since it introduced the directory four weeks ago.

InvestorTree is marketing the free, Web-based directory by posting links on Web sites operated by CBS MarketWatch.com, New York, and Morningstar Inc., Chicago.

InvestorTree says its matching technology gives advisors the power to screen prospective clients, as well as giving consumers the ability to screen the advisors.
