NU Online News Service, July 10, 6:23 p.m. – Digital Insurance Inc., Atlanta, a Web insurance broker, says it has made arrangements with four large health carriers to offer small group coverage in 10 states for the first time and expand its small group offerings in six other states.
The four carriers are Aetna Inc., Hartford; Kaiser Permanente, Oakland, Calif.; WellPoint Health Networks Inc., Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and Best Health Plans Insurance Company, Irvine, Calif.
Digital Insurance will be entering the small group major medical market in Arizona, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Utah.
The company will be adding options in California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, New York and Texas.
