BenefitPoint Sells Web Services To PacifiCare

NU Online News Service, June 27, 1:25 p.m. – BenefitPoint Inc., San Francisco, says PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., Santa Ana, Calif., has agreed to use BenefitPoint's Web business system to distribute health coverage and other products in eight western states.

PacifiCare will use the BenefitPoint system to handle requests for proposals, process renewals, and communicate with brokers and employers, BenefitPoint says.

PacifiCare is the first health care services company that has signed a national contract with BenefitPoint, according to BenefitPoint.
