Transamerica Names Two Senior Vice Presidents

NU Online News Service, June 25, 11:30 a.m. – Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance Company, Kansas City, says it has named Frank LaRusso and Frank Rosa senior vice presidents of TOLIC and Transamerica Insurance & Investment Group, a unit of AEGON USA/Transamerica.

In his new capacity, LaRusso will be responsible for the management of new business operations, including oversight of all underwriting functions and setting of underwriting philosophy. He joined Transamerica in 1993 as director of underwriting and reinsurance. He earned a bachelor's degree in business from Ball State University, Muncie, Ind.

In his new position, Rosa will be responsible for all technology systems and in-force operations, including service, claims and cash management. He joined Transamerica in July of 2000 as chief information officer and vice president. Before joining the company, he managed systems and operations for AEGON-Banamex, a joint venture based in Mexico City.
