MONY Appoints Brenner As Liaison To Advest

NU Online News Service, June 5, 6:15 p.m. – The MONY Group Inc., New York, says its MONY Life Insurance Company unit has promoted George Brenner to vice president – marketing.

Brenner will be in charge of helping advisors at MONY's newly acquired Advest investment advisory unit bring in wealthy clients, and persuading the Advest advisors to sell MONY's products and services.

Brenner joined MONY's business and estate planning department in 1991. Before he worked for MONY, he worked for The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, as an advanced underwriting executive and later as an agency manager.

Brenner has a bachelor's degree from the City College of New York and a law degree from DePaul University.

He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations. He has also written books about business planning and retirement planning.
