The FPA NexGen community of the Financial Planning Association has elected Autumn Campbell, a senior financial planning analyst with The Planning Center in New Orleans, to serve as the 2018 president-elect of the FPA NexGen.
Campbell spent several years as an elementary teacher and high school counselor in Dallas before joining Upperline Financial Planning, now the New Orleans office of The Planning Center, as a financial planning resident in 2016.
Campbell specializes in financial life planning, education planning, debt management and cash flow planning. She received her certificate in financial planning from Southern Methodist University in 2016 and has since passed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) examination. She is working toward fulfilling her apprenticeship experience requirement with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Campbell has been an active member of FPA and the FPA NexGen community and will continue to work with other FPA NexGen leaders in her new role as president-elect beginning Jan. 1.
"It's an exciting time to be part of FPA NexGen because all of us in the community are searching for progress, innovation and impact," Campbell said in a statement. "We are an ambitious collection of young professionals who are eager to find solutions for the profession's complex and ever-changing needs."
