The world's 10 richest couples have an aggregate net worth of some $510 billion, according to Wealth-X, a provider of wealth data.
The couples are based on three continents, and range in age from their early 30s to mid-80s.
Four couples on the Wealth-X list came by their wealth through inheritance, while the rest are self-made, building their fortunes through technology, investing, real estate and retail.
Last year, Wealth-X reported that ultra-high-net-worth individuals accounted for 0.004% of the global adult population, but control nearly 12.8% of the world's total wealth.
