Raymond James (RJF) said Thursday that it recruited a veteran advisor from UBS Financial Services (UBS) to join its operations in Pennsylvania.
Joel Feldman comes on board in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. While with UBS, he managed roughly $188 million in assets and had annual production of about $1.3 million.
"The culture at Raymond James attracted us most to the firm," said Feldman, in a statement. "I looked at several firms, but the value the firm places on putting clients first and the freedom given to advisors were what resonated with us and ultimately fueled our decision to join Raymond James."
Feldman has been an advisor since 1982, when he joined Tucker Anthony in Boston. In 1997, he moved to UBS. The advisor has traveled throughout Europe and Asia and works with clients to build globally focused portfolios.
(Earlier in the week, Raymond James recruited Patrick Yates in Louisville from UBS, where he spent 12 years, managed more than $120 million in client assets and had annual production of $1.1 million.)
