Beirne Wealth Consulting Adds Senior Wealth Advisor Dana McLaughlin
Milford, Connecticut-based Beirne Wealth Consulting (BWC) announced recently that it had added senior wealth advisor Dana McLaughlin, who serves as a core advisor to the firm's high-net-worth individuals and families and is responsible for advising individual clients on financial planning, investments, retirement and education planning, trust asset management and efficient wealth transfer. She is also a member of the firm's investment committee.
Prior to joining, she worked as a financial advisor at A.G. Edwards, which was acquired by Wells Fargo Advisors in 2007.
George Hostal Joins Phoenix Office of CLA Wealth Advisors
CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors (CLA Wealth Advisors), a wholly owned subsidiary of CliftonLarsonAllen, has announced that George Hostal has joined the Phoenix office as a senior wealth advisor.
Hostal has nearly 20 years in the financial services industry and specializes in providing custom investment solutions. He began his career with Bank One Trust Company, where he helped lead the consolidation of the private banking, trust, and investment management businesses designed to serve the asset management and estate and planning needs of HNW individuals. He also served as managing director with J.P. Morgan inLouisianaand as a senior vice president and portfolio manager at First Western Trust in Arizona.
Hartford Funds Welcomes New Hires in South Florida and Missouri
Hartford Funds announced that it has appointed two new advisor consultants. Shaun McDonald will serve in Kansas and Missouri, managing relationships with wirehouse clients and prospects, while Dylan White will serve in the same capacity in south Florida for the non-wirehouse channel. In these roles, they will be responsible for driving regional sales efforts and serving as a resource for financial advisors on products and strategies. McDonald, based in St. Louis, reports to Kirt Jones, divisional sales manager for the central region, and White, based in Naples, Fla., reports to Brian Garrette, divisional sales manager for the south region.
With nearly 20 years of industry experience, McDonald joins from Neuberger Berman, where he held the position of senior vice president, responsible for managing wirehouse clients in seven territories. Previously, McDonald was a vice president and sales director for the mid-central region at Legg Mason. McDonald has also held sales positions at AllianceBernstein, JP Morgan Asset Management, Banc of America Capital Management, ING Funds, MFS Investment Management, among others.
Prior to joining, White was regional vice president at Strategic Capital Distribution, where he was responsible for growing the sales of alternative investment strategies to advisors. He was previously a vice president and regional sales manager at Allstate Financial and before that, a financial service representative for MetLife Securities. His career also included regional leadership sales roles at ING Annuities and Transamerica Capital. White began his career as a financial advisor. In their new positions, Fitzgerald will provide clients with integrated and tailored wealth management services, and Granen will deliver personal trust and estate administration services to individuals, families and corporations implementing strategies to help clients meet unique needs.
