Jack DeWald, CLU, RHU, has been elected the new chairman of the Marketing Alliance board of directors.
DeWald is president of Memphis, Tenn.-based Agency Services Inc., a full-service life and health insurance brokerage agency. He was the 2010 chair of the LIFE Foundation and has previously served as the chairman of NAILBA, president of NAIFA-Memphis, president of the Memphis Health Underwriters Association and as an officer of the NAILBA Charitable Foundation.
"Jack is a rare leader who leads by example and relies on keen business acumen to deliver results for all of the organizations to which he has belonged," says Timothy M. Klusas, the alliance's president.
DeWald replaces Ronald D. Verzone, CFP, LTCP, as chairman. Verzone will remain a board director.
